Continue ReadingThe 2019-2020 is fast approaching in a month here in the Palmetto State. The top player in the 2020 class has decided to end his recruitment. P.J. Hall 6’9 has decided to play at Clemson next season. Hall made his decision today at Dorman HS Arena after school.
Hall is trying to help the Dorman HS Cavaliers win a 4th straight Class 5A State Championship this season. Hall has been part of 2 state championships. Teammate Myles Tate the #2 in the 2020 Palmetto State has been on all 3 state championship teams. Tate is headed to Butler University next season.
Hall averaged 14.5 ppg and 8.2 rebounds last season for the Cavaliers. Hall had a Final 5 list of Clemson, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech. Hall visited Clemson, Florida and Virginia Tech. Hall is ranked number #71 nationally in the Prep Hoops 2020 Rankings. The Cavaliers have posted a (76-12) record over the past 3 seasons.
The Cavaliers have been (72-4) vs South Carolina teams in that time frame.
Javon BensonJavon Benson made a pledge last week to stay home and play for the University of south Carolina Gamecocks next season. Benson 6’8 attends Ridge View HS. Benson is ranked #3 in the Prep Hoops Palmetto State 2020 class. Benson picked the Gamecocks over the College of Charleston. Hall, Tate and Benson all ran with Upward Stars Southeast 2020 this summer on the Adidas Grassroots Circuit.
