Leo Debruhl 6’2 PG Seattle Academy 2021 (#21 PHW 2021) – Debruhl was a sniper. Shot it well from 3. He didn’t make everything, however when he got his feet set you’re almost surprised if it doesn’t go in. Debruhl’s the ultimate floor spacer. A knock down shooter in catch in shoot action, if he had any space he made defenders pay. Fundamental shooter who stays shot ready.
Bradley Graham 6’1 PG Federal Way 2020 (#21 PHW 2020) – It doesn’t actually go in every time Graham shoots it, it just looks like it. He has great form and is a potent 3 point shooter. Terrific at head hunting for screens, Graham stayed active without the ball. Did a good job of keeping defenders off balance. He sprinkled in mid – range buckets to go along with shots from distance.
Mason Landdeck 6’1 PG Zillah 2021 (#25 PHW 2020) – Landdeck’s a special shooter. Mostly because it’s simply another arrow in his offensive quiver. Awesome off the dribble. Defenders that don’t want to be embarrassed, tend to give him space. Bad idea. Hair trigger. Landdeck splashed from all over the court. Shoots it well off the bounce, and is a knock down shooter in catch and shoot action.
Nicholas Ferencko 5’11 PG Bellarmine 2022 – Ferencko was one of the young snipers at the expo. I’m excited to see how he progresses over the next couple of years. Gathers slightly before letting it fly. When he does let it go, it’s bottom of the net. He was very good in catch in shoot action on the day. Textbook form and follow through. As he grows stronger, I expect his shot to get quicker and his range to get longer.
Jace Barrett 6’2 SG Rogers 2020 – Didn’t see a ton of Barett. However every time I did see him he was burying a 3. Sweet lefty stroke. When he gets his feet set, and his shoulders square, count it. He hit his share of shots in catch and shoot action, but what I liked most was his ability to use his dribble to get into his shot. Several times he would sprint to his spot in transition, receive a pass and knock it down.
