<p>Recruiting is in full swing as the 2019-2020 season draws closer. We will have plenty of season preview content coming soon but for now, let's catch up on the latest recruiting news in Kentucky basketball.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>New Offers:</strong></span></p>
<p>Louisville Collegiate Senior <strong>Chesimon Moore</strong> picked up an offer from D2 LeMoyne College last month. Moore is big, long and athletic and could be an absolute steal at that level.</p>
<p>Ballard guard <strong>JJ Buford</strong> was offered by Cincinnati Christian on a visit yesterday. Buford is expected to make an impact for Ballard after transferring from Male this summer.</p>
<p><strong>Cody Potter </strong>of Shelby Valley added another offer to his list this week. Pikeville is the latest school to offer the 6'5 shooter from the mountains.</p>
<p>John Hardin big man <strong>Preston Murrell </strong>was presented with his first scholarship offer. Cincinnati Christian offered the 6'9 Senior after a visit last week.</p>
<p>Just like his John Hardin teammate, <strong>Trevon Harris</strong> picked up an offer from Cincinnati Christian while on campus last week.</p>
<p>One of the most popular names in Kentucky since June has been Male's <strong>Howard Fleming</strong>. Howard was offered by Northern Kentucky earlier this week.</p>
<p>The latest offer for Bardstown big man <strong>JJ Traynor </strong>is Xavier. Coach Travis Steele was in the gym to see the 6'8 athlete on Thursday morning and extended an offer to JJ after his morning workout.</p>
<p>The newest member of the 2021 class to hold a D1 offer is <strong>Zek Montgomery </strong>from Fern Creek. The 6'5 wing was offered by LaSalle on Thursday afternoon. He joins Fern Creek teammates Jaden Rogers and Darrius Washington with offers.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Visits:</strong></span></p>
<p>Bullitt East Senior <strong>Zak Perdew</strong> was on campus at Centre College earlier this month. Perdew is a high academic player who can be productive at either guard spot.</p>
<p>Perdew's AAU <strong>Sam Bearden</strong> of Louisville Holy Cross also visited Centre college in recent weeks. Bearden is a double-double machine who has high academics and should be a productive college player.</p>
<p>Woodford County's <strong>Rodrell Dryden</strong> took a visit to D2 West Liberty last week. Dryden is ready for a big season after his transfer from Dunbar.</p>
<p>McCracken County's <strong>Jackson Sivills</strong> has taken official visits to Furman, Wofford and Florida Gulf Coast. He goes to Murray State this weekend and Vanderbilt next weekend before hopefully making a decision.</p>
<p>Henry Clay's <strong>Marques Warrick</strong> has taken official visits to Eastern Kentucky, Northern Kentucky, Bellarmine and the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He still has two more official visits to take before he ultimately decides what his future holds.</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Commitment:</strong></span></p>
<p>Collins Shooting Guard <strong>Marcellus Vail</strong> pulled the trigger on a commitment to Samford after his official visit earlier this month. The Bulldogs offered Vail back in June. Marcellus chose Coach Scott Padgett's program over offers from Kent State, Georgetown College and Kentucky State.</p>
