College Coaches Make Priority Visits to Prospects

Save the date: October 13th.  PrepHoopsTN will host their Second Annual Fall Combine in Murfreesboro. 

Early September college coaches scoured the state of Tennessee for recruits.  Scan some of the confirmed visits.

Decorian Payton (Center Hill, MS) added an Itawamba Community College offer today. 

Dom Holland (Fulton) just heard from Maryville College.

Harrison Kelly was evaluated by University of Arkansas-Little Rock.  Kelly is a sharpshooter for Christian Brothers that is making some recent noise.  Kelly will take a visit to UALR in the near future.

The Citadel reached out to express initial interest in Kley McGowan.  McGowan is a projected starter for Cleveland High School.

University of Alabama Huntsville Head Coach John Shulman and Assistant Coach Palmer dropped by Upperman High.  Upperman features Collin Gore (#115 PrepHoopTN rankings), Alex Rush (#62 in PrepHoopsTN rankings), Jace McWilliams, Isaiah Allen, and Filip Babic.  Babic attended UAH's camp in June.  He is the only Class of 2020 player of this list.

Ryley McClaran (Eagleville) visited Florida College.  Ryley is one of their targets in the Class of 2020.  In the Class of 2019, Florida College offered Elijah Cobb and Deron Perry.  Perry signed and will be a freshman for Florida College this year.

#OleMiss dropped by Chattanooga to evaluate the #2 prospect in Tennessee, Samson Ruzhentsev. His final 4 is Ole Miss, Illini, Georgia Tech, Florida in no particular order. 

Christian Brothers University dropped by Center Hill to see Kaeden Laws today.  Southern Miss was by earlier in the week.

Randy Brady (PrepHoopsTN #3 in 2021) was visited by Tennessee.  Western Kentucky and Ole Miss will see Brady soon.  He intends to visit University of Tennessee Saturday.

One of the top 5 Class of 2022 players in the state, Brandon Miller (Cane Ridge) hosted Tennessee, University of Louisville, and Tennessee State University.  

Covenant College hosted Gage Wells (Mt. Juliet).

Chattanooga, Belmont, UAH, Lee have all been to Raider Arena to visit with 2021 Guard Grant Hurst. Lipscomb, Penn, Tennessee Tech, Lafayette College, Presbyterian and App State will be visiting soon.

2021 Reese McMullen had Belmont & Lipscomb on campus for him Monday & Furman & University of Arkansas at Little Rock on Campus for him Wednesday 2022 Chandler Jackson had Vanderbilt on campus for him Tuesday & Ole Miss on campus for him Thursday. Florida State & TCU are coming for Chandler Monday.

Vanderbilt will evaluate 2022 wing Brandon Miller (Cane Ridge, TN) Friday.
