The Top 250 Expo will return to Baltimore where it will take place at Park School tomorrow, September 21st. In anticipation of the upcoming expos in the area, we’ve highlighted 30 prospects who benefited respectively from last year’s local showcases. Today, we take a look at 2021 guard Marcus Banks of Walsingham Academy.
PRE-CAMP
Banks had established a strong reputation as one of the best shooters in the state prior to his attendance at last year’s showcase. He had already put up big numbers at both the high school and the grassroots circuit. Needless to say Banks was heading into the event with some positive momentum.
DURING CAMP
Throughout the expo, Banks did what he does best, and that’s make shots. He did so in bunches and from a variety of scenarios. Banks shot it confidently from spots, on the move, and from the bounce.
POST-CAMP
Banks would go on to have a standout junior season at Walsingham which included a state final four berth. He remains considered one of the elite shooters in the state and is coming off a productive summer with Boo Williams.
