Connor Kochera (St. Viator)
Previous Ranking: #21
Current Ranking: #12
Kochera is one of those prospects that every time out in June and July he took his game to another level. That started off with his high school team during the June live periods where he went from complimentary player to last years two stars to the man. On his travel team he also took over games when needed with his scoring off the dribble and three point shooting.
Kyndall Davis (Bogan)
Previous Ranking: #40
Current Ranking: #17
Davis probably deserved more of a bump in his ranking after the spring, but we are rectifying that now with what he did in July for All-In. Jumbo wing that has length, strength, and plus athleticism. The jump shot really made strides over the last couple months with a much more consistent three point shot.
Dominic Martinelli (Glenbrook South)
Previous Ranking: #84
Current Ranking: #43
Martinelli put his team on his back and literally carried them to the championship game at the Ridgewood Live Event. He scored probably 75% of his team’s points in each game we watched. Skilled small forward that has a slo-mo type game using his craftiness to get buckets.
Matthew Ambrose (Stevenson)
Previous Ranking: #85
Current Ranking: #54
Ambrose showed with his high school team what he can bring to team at the next level. Leadership and shooting! One of the better pure shooters in the state and moves very well without the ball to get open.
Nick Erikson (Hampshire)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #93
Strong wing that can score in a variety of ways including slashing to the rim. Opened our eyes to what he could do with his play for IBA Mann on PHC.
Chase Monkemeyer (St. Charles East)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #95
Monkemeyer shined for IBA in July with his three point shooting. Moves well without the basketball and has a crisp and concise three point shot. Mixes in slashes every now and then.
Tommy Ferriter (Lockport)
Previous Ranking: #168
Current Ranking: #116
Like what this Lockport wing did for Windy City Magic during the Summer Challenge event in Chicago. Good size on the perimeter and can shoot it from three. Also was creative attacking off the bounce finishing with flair at the rim.
Luke LeQuatte (Herrin)
Previous Ranking: #177
Current Ranking: #124
Great showing at the Back to School Pure Sweat Camp at the beginning of August. He has nice size and some projectability. Will find a home at the small college level because of the way he can stroke it from the perimeter. Knocked down mid-range jumpers and threes all night both in the games and drills. That opened up his drives where he often used a shot fake to fool his defender.
Kenneth Salle (Crane)
Previous Ranking: NR
Current Ranking: #154
Salle made noise with his play at the UIC Elite Camp. The 6’4” strong Crane two guard can score on the perimeter with a free and easy mid-range jumper along with being able to stretch it out to three on occasion. Salle also plays with strength going downhill.
