Let’s examine some of the better wing prospects from the class of 2020 that are flying under the radar. Here are a few of our favorite sleepers from the shooting guard and small forward positions.

Paul Zilinskas (Riverside Brookfield)

Travel Team: ET21 Buckeyes

Zilinskas is such a skilled wing that is a high level shooter and really improved his ability to put it on the deck!

Saiveon Williams (Curie)

Travel Team: Young & Reckless

Williams is a transfer from South Carolina that will be a major contributor to the CPS power with his power and athleticism on the wing.

Connor Heaton (Central A&M)

Travel Team: Illinois Irish

Like this small forwards combination of toughness, skill, and production. He led his team to state last year in small school ball and will probably do it again this year.

Jason Bergstrom (Niles Notre Dame)

Travel Team: Wolverines

Broad shouldered small forward that has a lethal pull up jump shot! Feathery draining threes all over the floor.

Taurean Holtam (Rock Island)

Travel Team: QC Ballers

Holtam broke out this spring and summer with QC Ballers on the travel team circuit. Jumbo small forward that scores in bunches!

CJ Nwosu (Von Steuben)

Travel Team: Full Package

Nwosu is another wing that helped his stock with his play on the PrepHoops Circuit. Power wing that makes plays downhill!

Moory Woods (Alton)

Travel Team: Gateway Illinois

Woods elevated his play with a strong showing against Chicago teams in June at Ridgewood along with his play for Gateway Illinois.

Tagen Pearson (Nazareth)

Travel Team: Mercury Elite

Pearson is a productive scoring wing that gets buckets in camps, high school, or on the travel team circuit!

Uchenna Egekeze (Hutley)

Travel Team: Fundamental U

Egekeze is a versatile two guard that makes an impact on the defensive end with how well he defends multiple spots. Offensively he always leaves an impression by being in the right spot at the right time.

Ryan Sroka (Huntley)

Travel Team: Mercury Elite

Sroka is a scoring wing that can get points from multiple levels. Could be a breakout candidate as a senior!
