12-Nick Arensberg, 6’2, G, 2020, Shawnee Mission East, YOBO
Arensberg is an underrated guard who brings terrific quickness, athleticism and a lot of bounce in his step. He is a strong ball handler with some creativity and the ability to attack defenses. He has a smooth outside shot and can shoot off the bounce. Arensberg is also very good in transition and has the ability to score on the break.
15-Travis Beetch, 6’3, G, 2020, Abilene, SSA Elite Black
Beetch enters the upcoming season as one of the better all-around guards in the rising senior class. He is a terrific scorer who can slash, attack the basket and has a quick shooting release from the perimeter. He utilizes screens well and is a willing cutter off the ball.
1 — Qua’Vez Humphrey, 6’3, G, 2020, Junction City SSA Elite Black
Humphrey is a candidate to win a slam dunk championship at some point in his career as he combines strength, athleticism and the ability to throw down rim-rocking slams. He is a versatile offensive player who can score in the paint, handle the ball on the perimeter and score in a variety of ways. He uses his size well, whether it’s on the defensive boards or carving out space at the offensive end.
11-Norman Massey, 6’4, G/F, 2020, Wichita East, Grind Elite 17U
A hard-nosed player who is both physical and a bit of finesse. He has a strong frame and connects when he’s near the basket. He can shoot in the midrange area and has good recovery time and can get to the free throw line or block shots on the defensive end.
1-Zach Nelson, 6’0, 2020, Shawnee Mission North
Nelson is a talented lead guard who brings a flashy style of play to the court. He has the ablity to get hot from distance and is capable of creating his own shot off the dribble. Nelson likes to attack opposing defenses and has a nice pull-up game and can utilize floaters in the lane to score over larger defenders.
