Over the last couple of months, we’ve done our best to keep you updated with the latest happenings from around the region. In this series, we’ve been taking a look at some more recent transfers and what they will mean for both the player and the new team.
WILLIE RIVERA JR. | 6’1 G | ROCK CREEK ’22
Rivera is an experienced guard who can score, and make plays but perhaps most importantly compete at a high level. He will add valuable depth to the backcourt and likely play a key role on both ends of the floor throughout the season.
YUSEF SALIH | 6’2 G | HIGHLAND ’21
Salih has decided to reclassify into the 2021 class and this will give him another year to develop physically as he prepares for the rigors of college. He’s a talented shot maker with intangibles who could pair well in the backcourt with Angelo Brizzi.
KALEB TORRENCE | 6’0 G | FAIRFAX CHRISTIAN ’20
Fairfax Christian is getting a solid two-way guard in Kaleb Torrence. He is a pit-bull on the defensive end and can score effectively from three or attack the rim and draw fouls.
BRYCE WALKER | 6’3 G | ST. VINCENT PALLOTTI ’20
Walker is a significant addition on the wing for Pallotti. He is a good athlete who should fit in with what they want to do.
BEN WILLIAMS | 6’0 PG | ST. MARY’S RYKEN ’21
Williams is a reliable point guard who will give Ryken a boost on both ends of the court. He’s a great team defender who applies good pressure on the ball. Williams is a capable scorer with a nice mid range game. He will add value as a primary ball-handler as well.
DYLAN WILLIAMSON | 6’0 G | GOOD COUNSEL ’22
Williamson is a versatile guard who can defend, score and create plays for others. Expect him to make a big impact on both ends throughout the season.
