There were a ton of quality shooters that displayed their sharp shooting from all over the floor during the PrepHoops Circuit! Here is Part 3 of the best Illinois Shooters on the PHC!

Lashawn Johnson (Southwest Jets 17U)

Johnson has traditionally been known as more of a slasher, but he showed well as a shooter too when we saw him creating his own shot with feathery jumpers.

Billy Durkin (ET21 Buckeyes 17U)

This will be the first of two Durkin brothers on this list! The Hinsdale South 2020 shooting guard is a plus three point shooter that moves well without the ball.

Blake McKay (Illinois Bears 17U)

McKay is a Woodlawn rising senior who can drill shots off the catch from three along with mixing in stop and pop mid-range shots.

Tristen Hercules (Illinois Bears 17U)

Hercules had a strong showing over in St. Louis and a major reason was the way the Nashville point guard knocked down shots from three.

Bobby Durkin (ET21 Buckeyes 15U)

Durkin might have been the best pure shooter at the tournament in St. Louis. The 2022 Hinsdale South two guard had a feathery jumper from all over the floor!

Caleb Zurliene (Illinois Bears 17U)

The 6’4” long and wiry southern Illinois wing can flat out shoot it from deep! Plus shooter with deep range on his shot.

Simon Wilson (Southwest Jets 17U)

Wilson is another 618 wing that has positional size and is an above average three point shooter.

Alfonso Bailey (Full Package 16U)

Bailey put his name squarely on our radar with his play at Summer Challenge. In a game against QC Ballers he was automatic scoring in the first half. The powerfully built 6’3” wing drilled three after three pulling up.

Grant Niego (Chicago Lockdown 17U)

Niego was light out shooting it from deep in a 28 point outing to start things off at the Hard Work Region Finals for his Lockdown squad.

Devon Vanderheydt (Peoria Area Elite 16U)

Like what this forward brought to the table. Plus shooter that drilled them spotting up and in pick/pop situations.

Jaiden Lee (Illinois T-Wolves 16U)

Lee projects as one of the best shooters in the 2021 class. Long and lanky frame with an elite three point stroke pulling up and off the catch.

TJ Price (Capital City Teamwork 16U)

Price is a rangy lefty wing that lets it fly from deep. Central Illinois player that could emerge this season.

Chris Williams (Peoria Area Elite 17U)

Williams knocked down shots for PAE throughout the circuit. Strong two guard that can score it.

Julian Gatewood (Next Generation 17U)

Thick bodied shooter that knocked down an array of threes against Full Package on Saturday afternoon in Minnesota.

Johnny Koo (Full Package 17U)

Koo emerged with his deep shooting knocking down five threes including a monster second half performance.

Joel Williams (Full Package 17U)

Williams did the damage shooting in the first half for Full Package when we saw them in the finals. Smooth guard with a nice looking stroke.

Alex Figueroa (All-In Athletics 17U)

Figueroa opened eyes as a complimentary shooting specialist for a talented All-In squad that made a deep run.

Chase Monkemeyer (IBA Mann 17U)

This kid has impressed throughout the Summer with the way he shoots it from three. Did it again in Minnesota connecting from three and moving well without the ball.

Isaiah Tolbert (All-In Athletics 17U)

Tolbert got really hot with his jumper when we saw him on Sunday. The Brooks standout is a microwave scorer that when he gets going is a major scoring threat!

Tyler Van Eekeren (HIT 16U)

This Benet 2021 small forward is a lights out perimeter shooter. Moves well without the ball to get open and drills shots with ease!
