The Prep Hoops staff recently updated the 2020 national rankings. Below I give a quick rundown of the prospects that made the top 100 from the DC, Maryland and Virginia area.

#17 | 2020 6’2 Jeremy Roach | Paul VI (Duke)

The number one point guard in the state is coming off an ACL tear and should be 100% clear for the start of his senior season at Paul VI.

#28 | 2020 6’4 Cam Thomas | Oak Hill Academy (Undecided)

Thomas is considered one of the best scorers in all of high school basketball. He was second in scoring during the EYBL this spring and summer while averaging 29.5 points per game.

#33 | 2020 7'1 Hunter Dickinson | DeMatha (Undecided)

Hunter is an old fashioned that big that is also an elite passer for his size. He is currently down to a final seven including North Carolina, Florida State, Purdue, Notre Dame, Louisville, Providence and Michigan.

#46 | 2020 6’8 Henry Coleman | Trinity Episcopal (Undecided)

Coleman is also one of the more productive players in the country that has a smart IQ and a guy that you can count on to go up and get rebounds on both sides of the ball. Coleman is down to a final five of Duke, NC State, Virginia Tech, Ohio State and Michigan.

#48 | 2020 6’6 Earl Timberlake | DeMatha (Undecided)

Timberlake is the second DeMatha Stag to enter the top 100. He also has a final list of seven schools that includes: South Carolina, Pittsburgh, North Carolina, Providence, Seton Hall, Alabama and Miami.

#66 | 2020 6’8 Justin Lewis | Baltimore Poly (Marquette)

Lewis comes in as one of the hardest players in the DMV. Look for him to be one of the better shot blockers during his time in the Big East and a guy Marquette can count on to get rebounds on both sides of the ball.

#68 | 2020 6’5 Terrance Williams | Gonzaga (Georgetown)

Williams will not be flashy during his time on the court but is considered as one of the most productive players in the country. Major kudos to the Georgetown staff for keeping him close to home as he chose the Hoyas over a slew of other high major programs.

#81 | 2020 6’1 Ace Baldwin | St. Frances (VCU)

Baldwin might be considered as one of the more underrated point guards in the country that should fit in great at VCU. Look for him to bring in a rack of All A10 awards before his time in Richmond is done with.

#83 | 2020 6'4 Joe Bamisile | Monacan (Virginia Tech)

Joe could easily be considered as one of the major stock risers in all of the country after a great junior season. A one time Northwestern commit flipped his decision to give Virginia Tech an immediate impact scorer.
