Grant Stubbs 6’5″ MoKan 2020 (Liberty ’20): A versatile combo forward who had several Division II coaches tracking him at his games; and for good reason. He has a strong, physical body who can score inside with a variety of post moves. His perimeter game is just as solid as he can knock down 3-pointers in a pick-and-pop, plus he can get to the basket on a strong drive for buckets.
Isaiah Esker 6’9″ Arsenal Hoops Elite (Parkway South ’20): The big post had a solid weekend with his blue collar game. He uses that big body to establish good position in the post and he did a good job finishing. He is a hard-working kid who will also hustle up and down the court on rim-runs. He already as a few Division III offers and a lot of other interest.
Jacob Ungles 6’5″ Missouri Elite (Rock Bridge ’20): A solid power forward who performs many tasks to help his team succeed. His shooting touch from the high post is automatic against zone defenses and he will also step out and hit a 3-pointer off the pick and pop. He is a good rebounder and he makes a lot of hustle plays with his high motor, including a few chase down blocks. Very productive player who will play a much bigger role for Rock Bridge.
Jacob Davis 6’6″ Missouri Mavericks Premiere (NE Cairo ’20): It was my first look at this physical lefty post player from NE Cairo and he was impressive with his strength and toughness around the basket. The lefty gets it done the old-fashioned way with a good seal, a strong catch and a power drop step for two points. Nothing fancy, but very effective. He also has a little bounce as he will throw down a dunk in traffic.
Christian Snyder 6’5″ Missouri Mavericks Premiere (Jamestown ’20): A bouncy combo forward from a Class 1 school who was an impressive rebounder at both ends of the floor. He had good mobility and a good second jump around the basket to go along with a nice touch.
