Garner Road West 2020 Forward Dayron Sharpe: There’s not much that we can say about Sharpe that you haven’t heard already, he’s a beast in the paint and dominates matchups on a regular basis. His ability to score from all areas of the floor is evident but he also is a very gifted passer out of the post, making the correct reads to teammates.
Team Felton 2020 Wing Reggie Raynor: Another player that has outstanding athletic ability and will only get better as time goes on as he continues to work. He has a slasher type of game with the ability to finish above the rim offensively and protect the rim defensively.
Garner Road West 2020 Wing Justin Thomas: His stock has been rising and he is a player that could pick up some more offers during the live period session this week. There is plenty to like about him as a prospect, he’s 6’5 with the ability to score on multiple levels, and the scary part is he just scratching the surface of how good he can possibly be.
Team Felton 2020 Wing Silas Mason: MM/HM type prospect, he has a nice skillset to go along with his 6’7 frame that makes him very intriguing. He scores it at a high level, getting his shot off without too much unnecessary movement, continuing to add muscle wise will only help in the future.
Team Wall 2020 Forward Josiah Shackleford: Rebounding and finishing inside the paint are some of the things that you will get from Josiah. He’s a legit 6’8/200 pound prospect that can run the floor and has been looking to extend his game. The key for him will be to constantly play the game with a high motor, the harder he plays, the more productive he can be on the floor.
Underground Phenoms 2020 F/C Matthew Johnson: A player with legit height that can stretch the defense out with his ability to knock down the deep ball. We didn’t see him in the post a ton but he was more of a pick and pop guy, setting some good screens and making himself available for the pass and easy shot.
Carolina Wolves 2020 Forward Chazz Banks: A worker inside the paint, he’s rebounding the ball at a solid level and scoring the ball inside as well. Since the last time we got the chance to see him, it seems as if he has slimmed down some and is getting up and down the floor much better. Outside of being solid offensively in the paint he showed some flashes of solid defense as well with a nice amount of challenged and altered shots.
Team Felton 2020 Forward Todd Burtt: He showed some flashes of the player that we saw last year that had coaches at the D1 level very interested. Rebounding the ball and stepping out to knock down shots from three point land were things we saw from Todd during this event.
Team Felton 2020 F Nicholas McMullen: Has the physique of a player that has already spent a good amount of time in a college weight room. When he is aggressive and uses his size inside of the paint, he is a productive player for his squad. A legit 6’8 with some bounce and ability to rebound the ball, he’s one that D1 schools have been in contact with.
Groad Thornton 2020 Wing Wykise Allen: Really like what we saw from him this weekend, he was efficient with the touches he got, knocking down shots from deep and embracing contact in the paint. On the defensive end he was pretty solid, moved his feet pretty well and defended without fouling for the most part.
