AOT 2019 Nike Peach Jam Preview

<p><strong>Altanta, Georgia</strong> - The 2019 Nike Peach Jam event is back and will be tipping off this Wednesday and once again in North Augusta, South Carolina and Augusta, Georgia and guess who is back? The AOT Running Rebels are making their third consecutive Nike Peach Jam appearance and will be looking to go out with a bang. The Running Rebels made an appearance in the Nike E15 Championship matchup two summers ago but where they came up short to Team CP3 (NC). </p> <p>In 2018, the AOT Running Rebels finished their Nike Peach Jam tournament with a 3-2 overall record and unfortunately did not advance to bracket play. Their top guys, <strong>2020 PG Sharife Cooper</strong> and <strong>2020 SG Brandon Boston Jr.</strong>, will look to lead the pack this year into the elite 8 rounds and maybe even beyond that. But they will not be able to do that on their own. Guys like <strong>2020 G Alyn Breed</strong>, <strong>2019 PG Quinton McElory</strong>, <strong>2020 C Dylan Cardwell</strong>, <strong>2020 W Eugene Brown III</strong>, <strong>2020 F Cam Bryant</strong>, and others will have to play their roles big time. </p> <p>They have been placed in Pool C. That pool consist of teams like Mokan Elite (KS), Team Takeover (DC), Woodz Elite (AR), Meanstreets (IL), and Pro Skills (TX). Out of all those squads, they have only faced Mokan Elite (KS) this year and took a lost back in Dallas, Texas during the Nike EYBL's third session. They will begin pool play on Wednesday at 6pm local time and will face a very tough Woodz Elite (AR), a program sponsored by NBA player Malik Monk and the defending Nike E16 champions. </p> <p>AOT will have to focus, as every game in the Nike Peach Jam is a battle and every team will be trying to be crowned champions. Let us keep in mind as well that this weekend is a live period for college coaches and scouts. With stars like Cooper and Boston Jr., AOT will draw big crowds from not only college coaches and scouts, but media outlets and spectators as well.
