We saw him a little bit last summer, then he missed the first half of the season after transferring to Bogan, and finished out the season with a monster second half. Definitely was due for a push up the rankings before his play at Hard Work Live, but even more so after. The Work Foundation shooting guard was extremely fluid and slick scoring the basketball from all three levels. The 2020 prospect showed a plus jumper and the ability to create space to get it off. Slick ball handler and made plays as a passer for an off guard.
Bloxton was a major part of Bogan’s run to the state finals.
“It was great. I came back late in the season to help the team as much as I could. We had ups and downs. We had a great season and I look forward to being back down in Peoria next year.”
He turned it up another notch in the playoffs for his team.
“I knew I had to step up. We had a lot of injuries that nobody knew about it. Coaches told me I had to step up for the team and make up for the time that I lost.”
What is going on with recruiting?
“St. Louis, UIC, North Dakota, and Colorado State have offered.”
Bloxton broke down a few of those schools.
SLU
“They keep contacting me every day. Coach Bailey talks to me every day.”
Colorado State
“When they first saw me they showed me a lot of love. They wanted me to come see the campus, but I haven’t been able to yet.”
UIC
“I picked up that offer last Tuesday. It is a Chicago school and it is in my city.”
With the way he played during the second half of the high school season and early in AAU with The Work Foundation Bloxton will make a massive move in the 2020 rankings!
