He sees the floor and usually makes the right play with the rock in his hands. Defensively he is active at the point of attack.
Millender broke down what happened during his junior year at St. Rita.
“I think it went pretty well. It was a big difference from sophomore year as I started every game. We started the season off pretty disappointed. We came up a little short in the playoffs. We moved up from 3A to 4A and 4A has a lot more competition. Overall I think I did better, but could have been more consistent. One game I would score 26 points with a bunch of assists. The next game I would come out and score four. I just have to get more consistent.”
What areas did he see the biggest strides in this past season?
“I would say leadership. Working with the team in practice you always hear my voice talking in practice. I am trying to do that more with the Buckeyes and talk a lot more.”
Millender broke down how it is going with ET21 Buckeyes on the circuit this spring.
“It is going decent so far. We have a lot more talent, but there are a lot more new players so we have to learn how to play together. Our chemistry isn’t really there yet. We have to learn what each other likes.”
He updated us on the latest with his recruitment.
“The same thing basically. I got a couple letters from North Dakota. I have a bunch of D3’s looking at me. MSOE they are coming at me the hardest.”
