Prep Hoops Circuit – The All Session 6 Team
The Prep Hoops Circuit was in Wichita and Phoenix last weekend and today we put together the All Session 6 Team for the weekend.
Osaere Ighodaro of Powerhouse Arizona. Osasere has entered the top 100 nationally as a prospect after an impressive open period showing, three high major offers, and several dominating performances in the Bash in the Desert. When Powerhouse Arizona had tight spots it was Osaere that had the ball hitting shots from the perimeter and going at the rim to finish. Scored on nearly 75 percent of his attempts this past weekend.
Owen Koonce of Colorado Titans. Time to relive the clutch performances from Koonce in Phoenix leading to a Titans title. Owen knocked off Powerhouse Hoops with an Owen And1 in the final seconds putting the final score at 60-57 and then Koonce hit an elbow jumper against California Select to put his opponents away in the semis. Then in the final, after the Powerhouse Rise built a comeback, Owen ended their chances with a personal 10-0 run to finish the contest. Owen scored 27 total against a team full of future D1 players.
Elliot Paschal of AAO Flight. Elliot led AAO Flight to the event championship in Wichita with a game after game dissection of the opponents. Paschal is the type of point guard that takes value in every possession making sure deliveries are precise and every shot his team has is high percentage. Also a consistent defender for the Arkansas club.
Langston Reynolds of Billups Elite. The biggest sequence of Wichita was Billups Elite 15s winning the championship on a Reynolds game winning foul shot and block. All weekend Reynolds lived at the rim combining explosive finishes with touched in And1s on both sides of the rim. Reynolds is a 6-foot-4 2022 lefty talent that ranks with the best 2022s we’ve seen on the Prep Hoops Circuit this year.
Ethan Scott of Buddy Buckets. It was another winning weekend for Team Buddy Buckets earning a 16s title in Wichita. Ethan Scott and Sean Pedulla are a dynamite pair and this weekend Scott took the All Session Team spot with an incredible weekend of shooting. Scott’s weekend has Team Buddy Buckets not only with weekend trophy but they remain a top 25 team in 16u.
