Nicholos Edwards 6’3 WG / Alief Elsik [Houston Raptors] 2022
Was able to get to the rim. Has good down hill speed and is a force when he gets going. Active hands and jumps the passing lanes. He is very vocal and plays with determination to outplay his opponent. Had a big time one handed jam in the game. Will be interesting to watch his progress over the years to come.
Latavien Denson 5’7 PG / Fort Bend Marshall [RL9] 2022
Has deep range on his shot. Knocked down multiple trey balls. Has good elevation and a quick release on his jumper. Quick first step with good ball speed. He had the ball on a string despite his man being all over him. Drive and dish point with good floor vision. Plays with multiple speeds and controls the offensive flow for his squad.
Chancellor White 6’5 WG / Foster HS [Houston Hoops] 2022
One of the two true freshman that plays on the Houston Hoops EYB 15U team. Scored the ball well at all levels on the floor. He especially played well inside the perimeter. He was cutting and slashing and knocking down mid-range jumpers on the spot. He used his athleticism to rebound the ball and alter shots.
Roland McDougal III 6’5 SG / Aldine HS [Houston Flight] 2020
Bouncy two Guard that continues to improve time after time. Nice handle on the ball. Shoots the ball well from mid-range and deep. He even was play initiating and bringing the ball up the court. He has a long wingspan and solid lateral speed defensively. Finishes well around the rim.
Lonzo Rand 6’3 G / Westfield HS [Houston Flight] 2020
Great motor and can shot the ball. Fills the correct lane in transition offensively. Active hands on defense with quick lateral steps. He was able to keep offensive foes in-front of him. His strong on-ball defense anchored his offensive play. He was constantly on the move without the ball in his hands.
