Chance Beard (Birmingham Thunder)- First thought seeing this kid… How is he not on a major AAU team? Beard plays with 100% effort every time he’s on the floor. Excellent all around defender and rebounder. He’s worked hard to become more skilled offensively and has the ability to knock down open 3s. Beard has the size (6’5) to play both forward spots, but he’s better at the 4 spot right now.
Aaron Moore- Moore has played with both the Alabama Generals and Team Carroll. The 6’6 forward has shown the ability to play both the 3-4, but is a true mismatch at the 4 spot. Moore has a solid mixture of athleticism and skill. He is a very good rebounder and finisher. Improving his 3pt shooting consistency and playmaking will give him more time on the perimeter.
Tyler Lang (Alabama Fusion)- Lang is a very intriguing prospect because he’s more of a perimeter player, but he accepts the challenge of playing at the 4. Lang is a 6’6 forward who is very polished offensively and is one of the best defenders we’ve seen this spring. He is a very unselfish player. Lang is a player any college coach would want on his roster.
Mikey McIntosh (Alabama Fusion)- McIntosh would have a larger role on a different roster, but he has accepted the challenge of playing against EYBL competition. This kid is skilled and is a bulldog. McIntosh is the vocal leader of this team. At 6’6, he can play either forward spot and can guard 3-5. Anytime this kid hits the floor, McIntosh gives 100% effort and sticks to his role.
Kane West (Nike Elite Stars)- West may not be the most talented player, but he impacts every game with his consistent play and motor. This is a kid that only cares about winning. West will guard 1-4 and do whatever his team needs. At 6’5 he is a real impact defender. He has room to improve offensively as a scorer and shooter, but he makes winning plays.
