Darrell GardnerDarrell Gardner (2020) – Georgetown HS
Gardner and Cooper will be the top seniors back in Georgetown County this next fall. Gardner 6’1 combo guard has a bit of a awkward shooting stroke. Gardner has really decided to pick it up on the defensive end this spring playing with Manzer. Gardner was a All-Region Performer last season for the Bulldogs.
Carrele CooperCarrele Cooper (2020) – Waccamaw HS (Pawleys Island) (pictured on front)
Cooper 6’3 played is first season for the Warriors last season while averaging 14.8 ppg. Cooper recently joined backed up with Manzer after starting the spring with Team Wall Southeast. Cooper a slender-sleek athlete has a very wiry frame. Cooper needs to add weight and strength for next level. Cooper tends to be a solid student in the classroom. Cooper started off his career at Andrews HS.
Tyree FunnyeTyree Funnye (2020) – Waccamaw HS (Pawleys Island)
Funnye 6’3 is a very athletic young man. Funnye looks to be favoring the football route down the road for a college choice. Funnye really likes to play up-tempo on the hardwood while playing wide receiver for the football team. Funnye averaged 8.3 ppg this past season for the Warriors. Funnye recorded 27 receptions – 664 yards last season.
Tre GasqueTre Gasque (2021) – Andrews HS
Gasque a guard really likes to have the ball in his hands when on the floor. Gasque defends the passing lanes well with long and rangy frame. Gasque will look to have a big season for the Yellow Jackets next year. Gasque plasy with Team Wall Southeast on the Grassroots Circuit.
Victor OtubuVictor Otubu (2021) – Waccamaw HS (Pawleys Island)
Otubu 6’4 (250) plays OL/DL on the Warriors football team. Otubu a lefty has moonlighted some on the Grassroots Circuit with Big Shots South Carolina 2021. Otubu has thick frame and moves well around the paint and isn’t afraid to mix it up.
Tevin YoungTevin Young (2022) – Carvers Bay HS (Choppee Community of Georgetown County)
Young 5’7 lefty point guard will be given the keys to the Bears offense now. The Bears were hit by graduation and Young might just be the guy the next few years for this program.
Tyvon Richardson (2022) – The Georgetown School
Richardson is a virtual unknown outside of Georgetown County. Richardson plays at the Georgetown School (Enrollment 75) and in the SCIISA Class 1A ranks. Richardson hasn’t played much competition if any on the Grassroots Circuit. Richardson 6’3 lefty wing player has attended the school the past 3 years.
Isaiah HowellIsaiah Howell (2022) – Georgetown HS
Howell is the future of Bulldogs basketball . Howell 6’5 is ranked #10 in the Prep Hoops Palmetto State 2022 rankings. Howell plays with Upward Stars Southeast on the Grassroots Circuit. Howell is a very versatile and agile forward who has the ability to play inisde-out on the floor.
KeShaun WrightKeShaun Wright (2023) – Rosemary M.S. (Andrews)
Wright has a very bright future for the Yellow Jackets. Wright is playing with Big Shots Elite South Carolina 2023. Wright will be a name to track down the road in Georgetown County.
