Although many might say they had a down year this year they were able to send 3 players on to college and one player is playing professionally in Spain.
The Class of 2019 featured 6’5 F Kalthom Kur who signed to play at NJCAA Central Wyoming, 6’2 SG Lawson Roe will attend Mirimar College in San Diego and 6’4 CG Raimoana Tiniauari has signed with Weber State.
The player that often gets forgotten is Ignacio “Nacho” Arroyo who left JD to pursue a professional career in Spain and now plays for Movitar Estudiantes in Madrid, Spain.
Kalthom Kur will be a project at the next level as he works hard but is young for his grade. His visit to Central Wyoming went excellent as he was able to compete at a high level.
Lawson Roe a high academic SG will be able to stretch the floor but he will have to shoot 45% from deep in order to be effective at the next level. His improvement year after year was impressive.
Rai is arguably one of the best athletes in the Class of 2019 as he will play both football and basketball for Weber State. Rai had a lot of people recruiting him but he chose Weber State because it gives him the best option to stay close to family and continue his education at a high quality university.
