Here we take a look at forwards in the 2020 class we expect to turn heads and raise their recruiting profile with a strong offseason.
Michael Peake, 6’7, F, 2020, Blue Valley Northwest
An impressive forward with height, length and the athleticism to make a statement from the beginning. And that’s what he did. Peake is a competitor and he dominated the boards, and just about everything that happened in the paint. He has a lot of fight and grit and is willing to post up and clean up plays. He is always moving and can play above the rim incredibly well.
- O’mar Stanley, 6’8, F, Blue Valley West
A tough forward who brings a combination of size, skill and force to the floor. Stanley is a dominating big who can handle the ball, shoot from distance, run the floor and score and clean up plays around the paint.
Cory Davila, 6’6, F, 2020, Basehor-Linwood, MoKan Select
Davila is an old school post player who wants to get on the block and go to work. He battles hard for low post position and shows good footwork and a soft touch around the basket. He put together a strong junior season for Basehor-Linwood and appears poised for a big offseason.
Zach Davidson, 6’7, PF/C, 2020, Augusta, NLHA 16U Gaddis
Davidson brings toughness and activity to the floor for a big man, as he challenges shots at the defensive end of the floor, rebounds and makes himself available on the baseline and in the paint at the offensive end of the floor.
