TRENT DAWSON | 6’0 G | LOADED 434 HAWES/LUDOUN VALLEY ’20
Trent Dawson is a true point guard in every sense. He’s an excellent passer who pushes the tempo and keeps the ball moving. Dawson was very active defensively and recorded a handful of deflections. He pressured his man consistently on the ball. Dawson also demonstrated a good handle, craftiness off the bounce, and good touch on his floater.
AARON JASPER | 6’2 G | MID ATLANTIC SELECT/RYKEN ’21
At 6-foot-2, Aaron Jasper is a versatile point guard with length, natural playmaking ability and toughness. He consistently picked up his man full court and forced several turnovers with his high activity level. Jasper is very skilled with both hands. He seeks contact in the lane and can finish in traffic with his left. Jasper has good burst and is sneaky explosive as well.
CHRISTIAN MOORE | 6’0 G | TEAM THRILL/CAPE HENRY ’21
Christian Moore showed that he can not only score but create for others. He’s got good touch when finishing in the lane, but can also spot up and knock down threes consistently. Moore is a willing playmaker who will rebound, push in transition, and find his teammates for easy looks. He’s also strong off the bounce and seeks contact when finishing at the basket.
JULIAN REESE | 6’8 F | TEAM THRILL/NEW TOWN ’21
The first thing that stood out about Julian Reese was his lateral quickness at 6’8. His mobility gives Thrill the luxury to switch everything on defense. Reese is skilled on the low block. He can back down smaller defenders and finish with strong, efficient post moves. Reese rebounded well, blocked several shots, and made some nice passes. One thing he can work on is putting a little more arc on his shot so it doesn’t go flat.
MARK SIEGEL | 6’3 F | LOADED 434 HAWES/LOUDOUN COUNTY ’20
Mark Siegel had some nice moments despite his team’s loss to a tough Family EYBL squad. The 6-foot-3 lefty consistently created space with crafty footwork in the post. Siegel played with a high motor, ran the floor and scored well in transition.
