Antonio Reeves (Simeon)
Ranking: #9
Recruiting continues to heat up for the top uncommitted prospect in the state. He is recently coming off an official visit to Illinois State where he said he had a great time. On Saturday another Missouri Valley school jumped in the mix as Southern Illinois offered under their new coaching staff. He says he plans on taking a visit there as well. Wisconsin and Minnesota are two high-majors who haven’t offered, but are still hanging around according to Reeves.
Tujautae Williams (Orr)
Ranking: #10
The top small forward on the board told PHI exclusively on Friday he has lined up a trio of official visits to New Mexico (April 19-21), Texas A&M (April 26-28), and Minnesota (May 3-5).
Mitch Mascari (Geneva)
Ranking: #25
Mascari is nearing setting the world record for D2 visits in a year span. This is great though because he is making an educated decision on where he will play. Big scoring wing with a feathery jumper and plus athleticism. Mascari is taking official visit to D2 Biola and unofficial to D2 champs Northwest Missouri State. Would be an outstanding get for either program.
Terrion Murdix (Springfield Southeast)
Ranking: #37
The top 40 prospect is coming off a strong senior season. High basketball IQ guard with off the charts leadership. Originally he committed to Chicago State, but now will be headed to Mineral Area where he will join teammate Anthony Fairlee.
Landon Wolfe (Effingham)
Ranking: #39
Wolfe is a plus plus shooter with strength who rebounds well on the wing. He told PHI that he had a great official visit to Minnesota State and will be taking another visit to Northwest Missouri this upcoming week. Other schools he is in communication with include Illinois Wesleyan, Furman, Missouri Southern, Palm Beach Atlantic, UMSL, and Indiana Wesleyan. He says he could potentially visit a couple more schools before making a decision.
Chris White (Marian Catholic)
Ranking: #50
White is a strong and athletic four man that can score on the block, rebound in his area, and improved his face up game throughout the year. On Saturday he informed PHI that he has committed to D2 Maryville. Great pick up and fit for White as he should thrive at the D2 level.
Julian Barr (Lincoln Way East)
Ranking: #57
Barr is one of the more under recruited two guards in the class. Sharp shooter with range to well beyond the college three point arc. He tells us that he is talking with Indiana University East, Judson, Illinois College, and Purdue Northwest. Says he will be visiting Indiana University East in the next couple weeks.
Latik Murphy (Morton)
Ranking: #74
Murphy is a powerful scoring two guard that can flat out get buckets. He told us he is hearing from Wabash Valley, Eastern Florida, Washington Academy Post Grad, and North Arkansas. Plans on visiting Wabash Valley April 9 and also will head out to Kirkwood at some point.
Trevon Hamilton (Curie)
Ranking: #70
Hamilton is coming off a senior season where he led his team to a historic run during the regular season and city playoffs. Heady floor general and leader. Hamilton reports the two schools recruiting him the hardest right now are Trinity University and Thomas College. He plans to visit both.
