<p>Loyola 2020 power forward <strong>Bennett Kwiecinski</strong> showed flashes the first session of the Under Armour Association with the Illinois Wolves. Projectable four man at 6’8” that proved to be scrappy on the glass. Despite his lack of strength he boxed out and grabbed rebounds. Offensively he had a few put backs. Also flashed some face up skills on a rip through to the hoop. Has potential as a shooter spacing the floor.</p>
<p>How did his junior season go at Loyola?</p>
<p>“I thought it went pretty well. We got further at Loyola in the playoffs than all teams except two. We got to the sectional. I wish we could have won it. Going into next year we have a lot coming back. Last year was really good for the juniors that played and has set us up for next season.”</p>
<p>The forward spoke about his season individually.</p>
<p>“I thought I played really well. I had a different year. When I started at Loyola I was playing the five, but this year I got the hang of it. I started getting rebounds and playing more physical. It was a good year.”</p>
<p>Kwiecinski is playing with the Illinois Wolves and feels it prepares him for the next level.</p>
<p>“The program Coach Mullins runs is just like a college program. It is basically preparing us for college and getting ready for the speed and intensity that we need to play at that level.”</p>
<p>He updated us on his recruitment.</p>
<p> “Appalachian State, Drake, Wisconsin, Holy Cross, Lehigh, Yale, Princeton, Penn, Winthrop, and Toledo have all been in contact recently.”</p>
