C Armond Williams (East St. Louis)
Williams continues to be super intriguing with his length and shot blocking ability. Went up against a much more physical post in this game, but held his own blocking and altering several shots. Seemed to be playing hard and was more active on the offensive boards. Finished several put backs, dump offs, and and-1s.
PG Andrew Jones (Alton)
Slick point guard that can pass the ball. Good passing feel out of this lefty.
SG Rashad Weekly-McDaniels (Trinity Catholic)
Physical 6’1” 195 pound combo guard that loves to get downhill. What we came away most impressed with in this game was his ability to pass the rock with several sweet quick dishes for scores.
SG Lashawn Johnson (East St. Louis)
Johnson continues to have his arrow pointing up after a tough junior season. The athletic 6’5” wing has an intriguing physical profile with his length and athleticism. Three huge dunks in this game and defended well on the perimeter.
PF Patrick Readye (East St. Louis)
Readye has size at 6’7” 240 pounds. He rebounds well in his area which is what he did best in this game. Couple nice finishes inside including a power one. Solid post defender when locked in.
PG David Roberts (Hazelwood Central)
Thick bodied combo guard that is a quality athlete. Showed that off on one steal and coast to coast finish.
SG Jackson Creel (Mt. Vernon)
Creel was active on both ends of the floor. Hit a three, got on the glass, and played solid defense.
PG Nathaniel Garrett (Hazelwood Central)
Garrett put his name on our radar with his length on the defensive end. Offensively he has a good feel at the point. Hit a three and floater.
SG Simon Wilson (Mt. Vernon)
Wilson has plus size for position and a frame that projects well. Jumpers didn’t fall in this game.
G Ky’Lun Rivers (Alton)
Strong and solid athlete at the two guard spot. Hit a floater against Cooz Elite.
