Taking a look at these rosters tell me one thing – Colorado Mayhem is growing fast and is here to stay. This organization took off so fast and it is because they have directors that truly care. This team is committed and have a talented 17U squad as well as two 16U squads. On the 16U Gold squad two names to take a look is Horn and DiMarco. Raab is also super bouncy and can give teams fits he just has to put it altogether and ride with that momentum. All three of these players are capable of coming in and changing the game on both ends of the floor. Both can score in different ways. For DiMarco it is inside work with a evolving inside game. He is a presence down low that rebounds well and goes straight up once he secures it. He is raw but has upside. This is a summer that he can progress in. Horn is also a player that works well inside and really can take over this year. He is very athletic and while he is able to shoot the ball a bit but his bread and butter is down low on the block. He is a player that will have to be more aggressive this summer scoring as he will have the freedom to do more. Both are heading into a big season so having some momentum based off of a summer will help. Make sure that you keep an eye on him.

For Gold it will be about proving themselves. They have a few players on there that will have to step up to the plate and prove that they are a team that can compete at a high level. It starts in the Prep Hoops Kickoff.

For 17U this is a team that can turn heads this summer as they have it all. While they wait for guard Holt to get healthy they will still have to compete and get progress and have the talent around him to get it done. Hettinger will be their workhorse and player they go through. He is capable of taking over games from all three levels and has plenty to prove this summer as it is shocking that he is still unsigned. He is able to shoot the ball well and plays above the rim. Alongside him is the state’s best perimeter defender in Eikenberg that has also showed this last season that he is able to score when needed. It will be fun to see him play at a faster pace and get back to his roots of being a D&3 player that spreads the floor on one end while running the offense as well as being a menace on the other. Bile is am athletic big man and glass cleaner that does not allow anything to go around him. He patrols the paint and is able to get above the rim for finishes. Those players mentioned are unsigned seniors that should scream at schools before the weekend is up. Two players that I am also excited to see how they mesh is Toure and Leu-Pierre. Pierre is a player that when locked in is unguardable. He is crafty around the rim, has length and can score in every way. He also gets to the free throw line he just needs an opportunity to display how talented he truly is. Toure is a spark plug that every team needs off of the bench to get the team going. He does everything and is aggressive offensively always looking for a bucket.
