PrepHoopsIllinois is excited to get out to tons of events over the next few months. We wanted to give you some insight into the players we are excited to see this spring! Here is our Looking Forward: 2021 Wings.
Bryce Hopkins (Fenwick)
Hopkins’ dominant sophomore season saw him bump up to #2 in the PHI Rankings. His game continues to improve every outing and we can’t wait to see him against elite national competition. He will be playing with MOKAN 16U.
Brandon Weston (Morgan Park)
Weston transferred to Morgan Park from Lake Forest Academy and did not play this season. The explosive scoring two guard has a lot of tools that intriguing high-major programs. We are just excited to see him on the floor again!
Tevin Smith (Danville)
Smith elevated his stock with a strong year. He has always been a freak show athlete, but his skill level really improved this season. Starting to garner high-major attention.
Jaiden Lee (Joliet West)
Lee played on a Joliet West team that was young and struggled at times. He showed flashes of what intrigued us initially with his elite sniper shooting from deep.
Tommie Williams (Belleville West)
Williams is coming off a season as the 6th man on the state champs. On the circuit he will get to step into more of a go to role where he can show his complete game.
Khailieo Terry (Champaign Central)
Terry posted good numbers as a sophomore, but we didn’t see the skill progression we were hoping to in our evaluations of him. Time to make that leap!
Phillip Berryhill (Curie)
Berryhill was a deep reserve for Curie, but the long and lanky small forward shows a lot of potential with his physical tools along with a smooth jumper.
Louis Lesmond (Evanston)
Plus shooting 6’5” small forward that moved over from France. Got things rolling late in the season. Primed to break out and fly up the rankings!
