<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The 2019 Boys State Basketball Tournament ran for six days in Lakeland. Prep Hoops Florida's Pat Lammer takes a look at his All-Tournament squad (classes 1A-4A):</span></p>
<p><strong>Sam Griffin (2019), Westminster Academy:</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">The Texas-Arlington guard signee connected on 16 of 42 shots from the field at the final four and made 15 of 16 free throws for 49 points as Westminster Academy 3-peated in Class 4A. The steady Griffin committed just 4 turnovers in 64 minutes of action. The 6-2 guard averaged 5 rebounds a game.</span></p>
<p><strong>Marcus Niblack (2020), Wildwood:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> The 6-2 junior will be among the top prospects in the state in 2020. Niblack shot 16 of 36 from the field and got to the free-throw line 17 times. The versatile guard, who plays for E1T1 on the travel circuit, finished with 51 points, 11 rebounds, 8 steals & 7 assists. The defending 1A champs lost to Madison County, 62-60, in overtime in the finals.</span></p>
<p><strong>Mike Trigg (2021), Seffner Christian:</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">The explosive Trigg scored 48 points as Seffner Christian finished runner-up Westminster Academy in 4A. Trigg went 14 for 28 from the field and got to the free-throw line 19 times in two games. He added 12 rebounds, 7 assists & 5 steals.</span></p>
<p><strong>Jordan Preaster (2019), Orlando Central Florida Christian:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Preaster went off for 30 points in the 2A championship game victory over North Florida Educational. The 6-5 wing shot 17 of 30 from the field to finish the final four with 40 points. Preaster also added 14 rebounds and 6 assists.</span></p>
<p><strong>Bryce Street (2019), Orlando Central Florida Christian:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> The 6-foot senior guard was excellent both shooting the ball and handling the ball. Street went 13 for 24 from the field, including 5 of 11 from 3-point land, to finish with 43 points, 8 rebounds & 5 steals. Street also only had 3 turnovers in 62-plus minutes.</span></p>
<p><strong>Chase Johnston (2019), Westminster Academy:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> The Purdue-Fort Wayne signee was clutch once again from 3, hitting 7 of 15 from long range at the final four. Johnston teamed with Griffin to lead the Lions to a third consecutive 4A state championship. It was the fourth season in a row Johnston has played in the 4A title game. Westminster lost in the finals his freshman year. Johnston shot 13 for 26 from the field to end with 39 points. </span></p>
<p><strong>Travis Jay (2019), Madison County:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> The athletic guard is headed to Florida State on a football scholarship. The 6-2 senior did it all in leading Madison County to its first 1A state crown. He scored 33 points, had 17 rebounds and dished out 9 assists in two games. Jay shot 11 of 24 from the field and got himself to the free-throw line 20 times. </span></p>
<p><strong>Allan Jeanne-Rose (2019), St. John Paul II:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> The 6-7 senior had possibly the play of the tournament, slamming home a dunk at the buzzer to beat powerhouse Orlando Christian Prep in 3A. Jeanne-Rose went 12 for 20 from the field for 32 points to go along with 11 rebounds.</span></p>
<p><strong>Ben Middlebrooks (2022), Westminster Academy:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> The 6-8 Middlebrooks does not play like a freshman. He plays with the composure of an upperclassman. Middlebrooks had 17 rebounds and 8 blocks in Westminster’s semifinal victory over Jacksonville University Christian. He finished the final four 10 of 12 from the field (8 for 8 in the 4A title game) and compiled 22 rebounds and 10 blocks.</span></p>
<p><strong>Alfred Corbin (2021), Wildwood:</strong> <span style="font-weight: 400;">The</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">6-3</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">sophomore shot 13 for 28 from the field at the final four to finish with 34 points for the 1A runner-up. Corbin had 13 rebounds and 7 steals. He committed just 1 turnover in 62-plus minutes.</span></p>
<p><strong>SPECIAL MENTION:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Stephan Dibongue-Swenson, Westminster Academy; Willie Jones, Seffner Christian; Lenzy Hancock Jr., Jacksonville University Christian; Esteban Lluberes, Miami Riviera Prep; Anterrius Washington, Central Florida Christian; Deangelo Elisee, North Florida Educational: Kenneth Johnson, North Florida Educational; Vincenta Mitchell, Madison County. </span></p>
