Dorman HS 80 Spartanburg HS 36
The Cavaliers had little trouble with the neighborhood Vikings team. Ta’Lon Cooper and Kamal Desor led the way with 16 points a piece. Myles Tate and P.J. Hall both added 14 and 13 respectively for the Cavaliers.
Mauldin HS 70 Nation Ford HS 69
The Mavericks pulled off another come from behind win to move on to play region foe Dorman HS. The Mavericks improved to (22-6) and won now more game this season and in the past 4 seasons combined.
Nation Ford HS (24-5) were led in scoring by Wingate (NC) commit Shaman Alston with 27 points while Malik Bryant added 23 points. Zeb Graham the reigning Class AAAAA Player of the Year didn’t play in the game due to a injury.
Lexington HS 60 Conway HS 49
The Wildcats remain perfect under Head coach Bailey Harris. The Wildcats (29-0) were led in scoring by Mason Carver with 20 points, Ryan Green 13 points, Bradley Foulks and Johnathan Corley both added 10 points a piece.
Tonka Hemingway led the Conway HS Tigers (20-5) with 17 points in the loss. Hemingway a big-time football recruit was named Region Player of the Year on the hardwood this season. Timothy Steele chipped in with 13 points while James Bellamy added 10 points.
Berkeley HS 72 West Ashley HS 52
The Stags outscored the Wildcats 29-1 in the 3rd quarter to prevail. The Stags (25-1) got 19 points from Ishan White. Trevur Smalls and Hakeem Meggett both added 15 points while DJ Chisholm chipped in with 10 points. Chisholm is headed to Middle Tennessee State next season to play football.
The Wildcats finished the season at (19-8) under Head Coach Ronnie Dupre. Devin Ramsey led the Wildcats in scoring with 13 points, Kenyatta Jenkins and Jadon Moore both scored 12 points while Peter Musci chipped in with 11 points.
