GOLD BRACKET QUARTERFINALS

Oxbridge 76, Oviedo 72

Wellington 59, St. Andrew's 58

North Broward Prep 45, Seffner Christian 42

Pine Crest 59, Jensen Beach 49

Here are the top performers at The Rock Holiday Classic:

AJ Cajuste, Oxbridge Academy

The Class 5A ThunderWolves (9-0) senior guard scored 31 points in a victory over 9A Oviedo. Oviedo came into the game with just one loss -- a road defeat at the buzzer to Seminole. Cajuste has an excellent handle, is a good driver and can defend bigger players. He is drawing some college attention -- the latest from Old Dominion.

Rodrigo Vani, Loyola (N.Y.)

The 6-foot-8 senior scored 30 of Loyola's 64 points in a win over Lake Mary Prep. Vani is a good athlete, who rebounds, communicates and hits his free throws. "I moved here two years ago from Uruguay, so I haven't had much exposure," Vani said. "It's a new team. We have nine new players."

Chris Walker, Wellington

The 6-4 Walker, who wears No. 40, is giving coach Matt Colin's squad a huge boost as a sophomore. He nailed five 3-pointers on the way to a 20-point performance in a one-point victory over St. Andrew's. Needs to get stronger but shows great promise.

Troy Joseph & Dante Wilcox, Oxbridge

Joseph and Wilcox scored 18 and 15 points, respectively, to go along with Cajuste's 31 in the win over Oviedo. Joseph, who hopes to reclassify to a junior after missing his sophomore year with an injury, is 6-3 and explosive. He showed he could drive with authority while also hitting the outside shot. Wilcox, a 6-6 FIU recruit, is a strong finisher and tough on the boards.

Amen & Ausar Thompson, Pine Crest

The Thompson brothers -- both 6-4 freshmen -- combined for 35 of Pine Crest's 59 points in the W over Jensen Beach. Amen Thompson led the way with 19, while Ausar Thompson added 16. Pine Crest ran its record to 7-3 while handing Jensen Beach just its third loss of the season.

Andrew Minott, St. Andrew's

The sophomore made nine field goals and finished with 18 points in the Scots' loss to Wellington. Minott needs to get stonger but gives the Scots good production along with 2020 Yussif Basa-Ama and 2019 Alejandro Ralat.

Drew Thelwell, Orangewood Christian

The 6-2 junior poured in 29 points in the victory over Leman Manhattan (N.Y.). Thelwell connected on three 3-pointers. North Florida, Stetson, Rollins and Troy have all shown interest. Thelwell was also in the top seven scorers at the TCB Invitational.

TJ Lawlor, St. John Paul

The 6-2 senior started hot with 22 first-half points and finished with 34. Lawlor connected on six 3-pointers for St. John Paul (4-2). Levertis Williams, a freshman, led Coral Reef with 12 points.

Kevin Benitez, Miami Springs

The 6-foot senior banged home three 3-pointers on the way to 20 points in the win over Grandview Prep. 2020 Jalin Thomason led Grandview Prep in the loss with 8 points.

Aidan Knight, Oviedo

The 5-11 senior tossed in 19 points in the loss to Oxbridge. 6-1 junior Mamush Galloway added 16 points. 6-5 senior Morgan Mitchell played quarterback in football for Oviedo. He said he had de-committed from Buffalo and is taking a look at his options.

Michael Gavin, Lake Mary Prep

The 6-foot senior scored 18 first-half points on the way to 24 in the loss to Loyola (N.Y.).
