Seryee Lewis (Kenwood)
Current Ranking: #4
Travel Team: Mac Irvin Fire
Explosive four man has seen his game evolve in so many ways over the last year. He has become a much better scorer, rebounder, and rim protector. The overall consistency from a game to game standpoint has been huge in his development. Quick twitched around the hoop and a major vertical threat!
Martice Mitchell (Bloom)
Current Ranking: #8
Travel Team: Mac Irvin Fire
Mitchell is a big man with legit size, length, and athleticism. The 6’9” post is really coming into his own this season. Soft touch on his face up shot has expanded his range to three although he will force one every now and then. High flier in the open floor and slams alley-oops home. Rim protector and rebounder on the defensive end. Upside!
Chris Conway (Naperville Central)
Current Ranking: #11
Travel Team: Indy Heat
The junior presents nice height and length at 6’9”. Conway shows flashes especially from mid-range. Excellent mid-range shooter. Scores on the block with quick spins and hook shots. One area that really stood out was his improvement as a passer. Solid job rebounding throughout and is a shot blocking presence on the defensive end with good timing.
Devon House (Sterling Newman)
Current Ranking: #14
Travel Team: Iowa Barnstormers
House stands at 6’8” with a wide body. He has continued to get in better shape and is actually much more mobile than he looks. At the PrepHoops Top 250 Camp he handled it some on the perimeter and hit a couple threes. House is a very skilled low post scorer with a soft touch around the hoop and has outstanding footwork on the block. Beast area rebounder.
Sam Schultz (Oswego East)
Current Ranking: #18
Travel Team: Hoops Intensity Training
Broad shouldered big man at about 6’7” with strength and athleticism on the interior. Shultz displays his ability to stretch the floor by connecting on threes at times. Also was gets on the offensive glass for put backs. Physical player around the hoop that doesn’t get moved easily. He has a crafty handle in the open floor being able to bring it up in the at times on the break. Quality defensive rebounder.
Ryan Isaacson (Hinsdale Central)
Current Ranking: #19
Travel Team: Chicago Lockdown
Mobile 6’8” four man that can play both inside and outside. So skilled at his size. Displays that being able to put it on the deck on occasion. Plus shooter off the catch from three who can really get hot from distance. Has even displayed some improvement as a rim protector.
Nate Seputis (Lincoln Way East)
Current Ranking: #23
Travel Team: Team RWA
Seputis is a well-built 6’9” center that has great size and strength on the interior. He has the ability to score with his back to the basket and rebounds at a high rate in his area. Face up potential as he really likes to shoot in that 15-18 feet area.
Aaron Tims (Hinsdale South)
Current Ranking: #26
Travel Team: Team RWA
Long and angular lefty with a lot of bounce. Fluid running the floor. Excels in transition. Can handle it in the open floor. Developmental upside as a catch and shoot guy. Right now the 6’7” combo forward’s value is in his athleticism and rebounding both in as well as out of his area.
Kennedy Brown (Bogan)
Current Ranking: #29
Travel Team: Chicago Demons
This long and active 6’8” power forward has burst on the scene with the way he has played as a junior at Bogan. Transferred to the CPS power as a relative unknown, but with his play he has given the Bengals even more depth up front rebounding and scoring. A prospect that could continue to fly up this list.
