<p>The first full week of January basketball has not disappointed. There have been quality games all across the state. Players in every class are competing at a high level and putting up solid stat lines. This article features top performances from Thursday night.</p>

<p><strong>Michael McGraw (Faith Christian): </strong>McGraw has put together a solid freshmen campaign. Last night, Michael finished with 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals. McGraw also was 5-6 from three.</p>
<p><strong>Donavon McCain (Jacksonville): </strong>McCain lead Jacksonville with 17 points and 7 rebounds in a close win over Hokes Bluff. Donavon played with a lot of toughness and grit. </p>
<p><strong>Hayden Lipscomb (Hokes Bluff): </strong>Liscomb controlled the paint for Hokes Bluff in a narrow loss. Hayden finished with 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 blocks.</p>
<p><strong>Delo Foster (Piedmont): </strong>Foster played with a lot of energy against Pleasant Valley. Foster finished the night with 16 points and 6 rebounds. His presence was also felt on the defensive end (3 blocks).</p>
<p><strong>Alex Odam (Piedmont): </strong>Odam controlled pace and found open teammates all night. Alex finished with an impressive line of 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists.</p>
<p><strong>Chase Vinson (Jacksonville Christian): </strong>Vinson put up a big time performance last night and was relentless on the glass. Vinson finished with 22 points and 13 boards to lead his team in the win. </p>
<p><strong>Kobe Messer (Jacksonville Christian): </strong>Messer also had a big night for the Thunder. Kobe finished with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Messer shot the ball well and was an active defender</p>
