Class AAAA
#1 Prior Lake: Huge game with Lakeville North this evening. It’s a game where the Lakers get a chance to defend their top of the mountain spot.
#2 East Ridge: Tonight the Raptors get the challenge of White Bear Lake, a one loss team. Not to mention the game with Brookfield Central this weekend at the Border Battle plus dates with CDH, Wayzata, and Edina in about two weeks.
#3 Park Center: They hit the meat of their league schedule with Osseo, Champlin Park, and Totino-Grace all at the end of this month
#4 Hopkins: This Friday against Minneapolis North, next week against DeLaSalle and Wayzata. Nothing easy for the Royals.
#5 Lakeville North: Tonight is North’s chance to get back into the conversation of elite teams. Rival South is this Friday but tonight North tries to work their way back from three losses.
#6 Wayzata: Finish this month with Tonka, STMA, and Cambridge
#7 Shakopee: Winnable games the rest of the month but tonight the Sabers have Eastview.
#8 Eden Prairie: EP has already played a monster schedule but look at what is next: tonight vs Columbia Heights, then Edina, Waconia, Minnetonka, Wayzata, CDH, and Hopkins. No breaks. Ever.
#9 White Bear Lake: It’s all about tonight. WBL got CDH earlier in the year and proved they are a top ten team. Now, are they a state contender? We find out when the Bears take on East Ridge.
#10 Chaska: Chaska played a monster schedule to start the year. Right now they don’t have cupcakes but winnable games with rival Chan (9-5), St Louis Park and Washburn are next with Tonka at the end of the month.
