PH: What’s your GPA?
DM: “Right now it’s a 3.5.”
PH: For those who haven’t seen you play, how would you describe your game?
DM: “I can do everything. I play all positions. I can shoot, but I’m mainly trying to focus on my ball handling and getting my three point shot consistent.”
PH: What is the most underrated part of your game?
DM: “Definitely my ability to go left. Most teams try to force me that way, but I’m very comfortable going left.”
PH: What specifically are you working on besides ball-handling and shooting?
DM: “Pull-ups and spin jumpers. The mid range area.”
PH: Whats your role for the team?
DM: “We all have equal roles. There’s no scorers or anything. Everybody is just contributing to the team.”
PH: What is the most improved part of your game?
DM: “Definitely my ball-handling. Last year as a sophomore, I got pushed into the point guard position. I was kind of rattled and wasn’t ready for it, but my coaches helped prepare me.”
PH: What’s your playing background like?
DM: “I don’t think I’ve been playing that long. I’ve been playing AAU basketball since the end of 7th grade.”
PH: What are your goals?
DM: “I don’t have any individual goals. I just want our team to succeed and do the best we can.”
PH: What do you think you can bring to a college program?
DM: “I’m going to work hard, do everything possible to help our team win. If I’m not scoring, I’m still going to play hard and play hard for my guys.”
PH: Do you know what you want to study in college?
DM: “I’m definitely a business guy. Nothing else.”
