District 14
Playoff Push:

MVP Candidates:
- Ricky Crawford Jr. 6’3 SG / 2020 / Langham Creek is averaging 12.7 points per game. Ricky is a solid two that plays great around the perimeter. Has great catch and shoot abilities. Moves good without the ball. Can create for himself. Plays solid on ball defense.
- Delor “DJ” Johnson 6’4 SG / 2019 / Cypress Ranch is averaging 25.3 points per game and 7 rebounds per game. The Southern University commit is having a great senior campaign. He is able to get to the rim at will. Plays above the rim at times. He creates for himself and also gets his teammates involved. He uses his athleticism on the glass and playing defense.
- Bonke Maring 6’9 C / 2019 / Cypress Springs is averaging 16.8 points per game and 8.1 rebounds per game. Bonke has made big leap this season. Last season he only averaged 3 points per game and grabbed 3 rebounds per game. His summer with the Houston Raptors has helped him tremendously. He has a good skill set inside the paint. Finishes well around the rim. Can handle the ball and shoot the deep ball also. Stretches out the floor well. Plays solid defensively by altering shots.
District 15

- Kharee McDaniels 5’11 PG / 2019 / Klein Forest is averaging 19.8 points per game and 4.3 assist per game. This Central Oklahoma commit. Gets to the lane at will. Beats his defender off the dribble. Gets his teammates involved in the game. Active hands defensively on the ball. Plays with a super high motor. He was conference MVP last season and looks to grab it again this season.
- Calvin Solomon 6’6 SF / 2019 / Klein Forest is averaging 16 points per game and 10 rebounds per game. Unsigned senior would be a solid get for any team. He is having a big season also. Has the ability to put the ball on the floor. He is truly anchored by his defense. He alters shots and get tons of pass deflections. Finishes well around the rim and plays above the rim at times.
- Jacob Paske 6’0 SG / 2019 / Klein Collins is averaging 17.5 points per game shooting 42% from behind the arc. Is a solid shooter. Definitely one of the top 5 three point shooters in the Houston area. Has a high release point on his jumper. He also gets up high on his jump shot. Can create his own shot. Plays solid off the ball especially in a catch and shoot situation off of any screen.
District 16

MVP Candidates:
- Christyon Eugene 6’2 CG / 2019 / Spring is averaging 18.1 points per game, 7.9 rebounds per game, 4.2 assist per game, and 2.3 steals per game. Unsigned senior alert. This prospect is labeled as the Swiss Army Knife. Whatever you want done, he gets it done. He can score with the best of them, but gets more joy out of the teams success than his own. Has the capabilities to play above the rim every single time he drives. Can score in the mid-range. Knocks down the long ball from deep. Plays great on ball defense. Gets in the mix and rebounds the ball.
- Keionte Cornelius 5’10 PG / 2019 / Spring is averaging 25.9 points per game. Is a small shooting guard. One of the top 5 deep ball shooters in the Greater Houston area. He has a D2 offer at this moment. Lights out shooter. Has a one dribble scoring package. He has quick handles also which help him to create his own shot.
- Ja’Mare Redus 6’0 PG / 2019 / Eisenhower is averaging 19.5 points per game. This point is committed to Texas Southern University. He is a quick physical guard who gets to the rim. He plays very scrappy. Has a good handle on the ball and is decisive off the dribble.
- James Harrison 6’1 PG / 2019 / Nimitz is averaging 15.8 points per game. Has really been on a tare since December. He has been averaging 19.9 points per game in the last 10 games. He is a quick guard who attacks the lane. Can knock down the trey ball. Gets his teammates involved in the game. Good lateral movement defensively. Always takes on the tough assignment defensively.
District 17

- Jesse Zarzuela 6’3 PG / 2019 / Spring Woods is averaging 21.7 points per game. He is committed to UTEP. He is a bucket. A tough assignment for the opposing defender every game. He scores the ball well at all three levels. He gets his teammates involved in the game. Plays great on ball defense.
- Darian Gibson 6’3 SG / 2019 / Spring Woods is averaging 16.8 points per game. Darian is a great catch and shoot off guard. Moves well around the court without the ball. He can also get to the rim by attacking his defender. Has good lateral movements. Can play above the rim also. Coaches if you need a shooter look no further than right here.
- Damian “DJ” Richards 6’4 SG / 2021 / Cypress Creek is averaging 14.9 points per game. Has been putting up big numbers since the New Years have rung in. His January average is at 22.7 points per game. He can take his man off the dribble. He shoots the ball from deep extremely well. Has a quick trigger on the ball.
- Davion Coleman 6’1 PG / 2020 / Jersey Village is averaging 20.2 points per game. He is a tough guard. Gets to the bucket at will. Has a good handle on the ball. Has capabilities of playing above the rim at times. Active hands on defense and plays solid on ball defensively.
- Braydon Redd 6’8 C / 2019 / Cypress Falls is averaging 14.4 points per game. Has decent footwork. Active on the glass and has a long wingspan. This prospect is still developing skill sets offensively.
District 18

- Marlon Jackson 6’4 SF / 2019 / Sam Houston is averaging 17.1 points per game and 6.4 rebounds per game. Another unsigned prospect who is a top 20 senior in the Greater Houston area. He plays solid from the wing position. One to Two dribbles and hes at the rim from the perimeter. Plays above the rim with a nice bounce. Outside shot is still developing. Active on the glass. Runs the lanes well in transition.
- Obi Ezekwesili 6’6 SF / 2019 / Westside is averaging 17.8 points per game and 9.2 rebounds per game. Obi has made big strides since the summer. Finishes around the rim at a high rate. Plays above the rim more than he used to. He is bouncy and athletic. Has a long wingspan. Plays with a great motor. Rebounds and blocks shots. He currently has 1 D2 offer on the table and multiple D3.
- Doug Young 6’2 PG / 2019 / Bellaire is averaging 23 points per game. He is a streaky shooter from the outside. Has a great frame on him with great speed for his size. Plays scrappy on ball defense. Uses his quickness to jump the passing lanes.
District 19

- LJ Cryer 6’1 PG / 2020 / Morton Ranch is averaging 27.4 points per game. LJ is a hot prospect. He is an top prospect in the country that holds offers from a lot of Power 5 schools. He can score the ball at all three levels. He has a really high offensive IQ. He is also averaging district high of 5.1 assist per game. Has active hands defensively. Has a quick first step.
- Eddie Lampkin 6’10 C / 2020 / Morton Ranch 13.2 points per game and 9.8 rebounds per game. Has interest from several Power 5 Universities as well. Soft hands with a soft inside touch around the rim. Good footwork and post skill set. Has a good IQ and gets his teammates involved with dimes. Uses his body well and runs the floor really good. Alters shots and cleans up on the glass.
- Jaron Presley 6’2 SG / 2019 / Cinco Ranch is averaging 21.9 points per game. Jaron is a St. Mary’s commit. He is one of the top deep ball shooters in the Greater Houston area. Moves exceptionally well without the ball in his hands. Has improved his play making abilities and handles. He is also starting to add some bounce to his game.
District 20

- Donovan Williams 6’5 SF / 2019 / Elkins is averaging 18.6 points per game. He is shooting 56% from the field. The Texas Longhorn commit is having a solid senior campaign. He gets to the bucket and finishes well around the rim. He can knock down the outside shot. Plays above the rim. Has good lateral movement defensively.
- Collin Warren 6’4 SG / 2019 / Elkins is averaging 14.6 points per game. Can play either the one or two at the next level. Thrives best off ball. Moves great without the ball. Good catch and shoot player. Can create for himself off the dribble. Has bounce in his game and plays above the rim. He just picked up an offer from McNeese University.
- Isaiah LeBlanc 6’3 PG / 2020 / Ridge Point is averaging 16.8 points per game. Floor general that gets it done. He can get to the basket and knock down the deep ball. Has good elevation on his shot. He gets his teammates involved. Has active hands defensively. Plays with a high motor. Leads his team in rebounding also with 5.3 average.
- Javontae Hopkins 5’11 PG / 2019 / Travis is averaging 18.1 points per game. Quick point with bounce. Utilizes his speed and quickness defensively as well. Super quick hands while guarding his opponent. is also averaging 2.5 steals per game.
District 21

- Kasen Harrison 6’0 PG / 2020 / Beaumont United is averaging 15.3 points per game, 4.2 assist per game, and 2.2 steals per game. This point is shifty. Gets to the bucket and finishes at a high rate. Creates his own shot. Gets his teammates involved in the game. Can knock down the long ball. Anchored by his defensive play. Great on ball defender. Plays the passing lanes. High defensive IQ.
- Bruce Scott 6’2 G / 2019 / North Shore is averaging 10.3 points per game and 3.1 steals per game. If you need a glue guy look no further. Has the ability to score in bunches. Sets solid screens for a guard. He boxes out every time the ball is in the air. Great on ball defense. Super active hands defensively. Really high Defensive IQ. Takes a lot of charges and is always in the right place at the right time.
District 22

- Darreon Jackson 6’0 G / 2019 / South Houston is averaging 13 points per game. Solid perimeter player. Knocks down the trey ball. He also knocks down shots from just inside the three point line. Can get to the rim. Penetrates the lane really well to get his teammates involved. Plays good help side defense and zone defense.
- Dylan Phillips 6’4 WG / 2019 / Summer Creek is averaging 17.5 points per game. Plays above the rim. Finishes well around the rim. Has a mid range game as well. Solid defender who moves his feet well. Runs the floor great in transition. Alters a lot of shots and deflects several passes each game.
District 23

- Noah Thomasson 6’3 PG / 2019 / George Ranch is averaging 21.9 points per game and 3.6 assist per game. Noah is a tough guard that can slow you down or speed you up. He controls the tempo of the game. Gets his teammates involved in the game. Plays well in the pick and roll set. Has a mean first step. He can score the ball at all three levels at a high rate. Physical guard who plays solid on the defensive end of the floor. He currently has a D2 offer from Northeastern State University.
- DK Thorn 6’2 PG / 2019 / Dawson is averaging 11.7 points per game. He is tough and scrappy guard. Has a quick first step. Explosive off the bounce. Finishes well through contact. Pesky defender who has quick hands. Would be a solid pick up for any D3/NAIA school.
- Javonne Lowery 6’4 SG / 2019 / Pearland is averaging 13.6 points per game. The University of Louisiana at Lafayette commit. Has been having a solid Senior campaign. He gets to the bucket and finishes above the rim. He has put multiple defenders in the rim this year. His three point shooting has improved from last year and over the summer. Plays solid defense. Active on the glass. Plays with a great motor.
- Jordan Johnson 6’3 SG / 2019 / Strake Jesuit is averaging 17.5 points per game and 3.3 assist per game. He shots the ball well from the floor. He doesn’t take a lot of three’s, but hes hit 10 on the season and is shooting 33% from behind the arc. He finishes strong at the rim. Leads his team in every statistical category.
- Dalon Dean 6’3 SG / 2019 / George Ranch is averaging 16.9 points per game. Deep range dead eye specialist. Moves pretty solid without the ball in his hands. Thrives off the catch and shoot. He’s not shooting his trey balls close to the line either. H is a player that you can’t give much space to.
District 24

- Tramon Mark 6’5 CG / 2020 / Dickinson is averaging 26.6 points per game and 4 assist per game. Is having a sensational season. He has several D1 offers from some of the power 5 conference schools. He can take his man off the dribble to the rim or will pull up in the mid range. Transitional three ball is when he shoots from deep the best. Finishes at a high rate at the rim. Has the capabilities of playing above the rim. He gets his teammates involved when he’s running the show.
- Terrance Woodson 6’5 SF / 2019 / Clear Springs 17 points per game and 6.9 rebounds per game. Trying to keep his team in the top four of district play. He plays solid in short corner situation. One to two dribbles from the wing and he gets to the rim. Uses his athleticism and leaping abilities to snatch up rebounds.
- Deuce Guidry 5’8 PG / 2020 / Dickinson is averaging 16.9 points per game and 4.3 assist per game. Deuce may stand short in stature, but don’t let that fool you. He can score the ball by taking his man off the dribble or knocking down the three. Quick point guard that plays with an edge. Gets to the right spots and causes defense to collapse, allowing him to get his teammates involved in the game. Pesky defender at times.
- Calen Anderson 6’4 SF / 2019 / Clear Creek is averaging 12.1 points per game and 6.4 rebounds per game. He holds everything together for his team. Plays with a high motor at times. Although he plays as the big for his team. He still gets his buckets in various ways. Strong with nice ball speed. Plays well in the mid range level of the floor. 3.8 of his rebounds per game are offensive.
- John Argue 6’9 PF / 2019 / Clear Lake is averaging 16 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game. John may not look like much when he takes the court. He definitely allows his game to speak for himself. For his slender frame he has good strength. He has the abilities to knock down the long ball. Stretches out the floor well. Has a good IQ recognizes mismatches and exposes them quickly. He blocks a lot of shots and alters them as well. Plays with a great motor. Definitely a steal that is still on the board right now. D2/D3/NAIA.
