District 11AA Regular Season Race
Fairview (7-1) continues to sparkle, putting together an absolutely fantastic season. In many districts they would be pulling away from the pack, but Hickman County (7-1) is right alongside. Fairview’s non-conference success (11-1 outside district) and stable of sturdy workhorses might make the Yellowjackets favorites on paper, but Hickman County’s Bulldogs are neck-and-neck at seven wins heading into the weekend.
FvHS defeats Lewis Co. 63-42 to improve to 18-2 (7-1).

D.J. Estes conjures up 20-point nights almost every week. He will be playing college basketball in the fall. The yellowjackets pummeled teams in November like Santa Fe twice, Harpeth, Grace Christian (Franklin), and even destroyed Camden 81-56 in early December. Fairview is 18-1 against Tennessee teams this season and their lone out-of-state loss to Fern Creek (KY) came in the Zaxby’s Christmas Tournament final game. This is a very good team with numerous scoring threats. The team routinely wins rebounding battles.
Hickman County keeps plugging away and while less flashy, finds ways to win. Andrew Conley and Denton King are typically leading scorers.
Somehow Camden is only a single game back. They will get a chance to enter the race for #1 with a win Friday. Can anybody conquer Fairview?
