“Rhodes College in Memphis wants me really bad,” shared Sam Wiseman (PrepHoopsTN #176). “‘I’ve also heard from Grand Valley State in Michigan and Colorado Mesa. Still wanting more options though.”
Rhodes College averaged 15 wins the last five seasons.
“Rhodes is a very nice school and I like the area.,” said Wiseman. “I have visited three times. It’s a very high level academic school which would be great for me in the long run.”
As the most aggressive pursuer of Sam Wiseman (Arlington) Rhodes knows Wiseman well. During his Ultimate South Showcase basketball game Saturday the 15th of December Wiseman performed in front of three Rhodes College basketball coaches.
“The game was my second game back,” said Wiseman days after the victory over Clarksville Northeast. :I was still a little rusty.”
Sam Wiseman can build his recruiting profile in the next two months. He will likely sign in April.
“I don’t really have a deadline,” said Wiseman. “I’m just waiting for the right opportunity and situation to present itself. I don’t have many demands. I’d like the academics to be good and have a family-like atmosphere. Location doesn’t really matter for me. I’m willing to go anywhere to play. Wherever I go, I want it to be a situation I can meaningfully contribute to.”
