Timmonsville HS 53 Hanahan HS 49
The Whirlwinds finished the Sweet 16 with a (1-2) record. Tyron Fleming led the way with 13 points and Timothy Washington chipped in with 12 points.
Logan Ammons is out again injured for the Hawks. Akim Alston led the Hawks with 13 points and Davis Wood added 12 points. The Hawks finished the Sweet 16 at (0-3).
Airport HS 62 Denmark-Olar HS 61
Jalen Canada helped lead a shorthanded Airport HS to a victory. with 15 points while two others scored 14 points.
Harold Johnson scored 33 points in a loss for the Vikings.
Manning HS 75 Kingstree HS 61
The Monarchs got back on track with a victory and close out the Sweet 16 at (2-1).. Jordan Louden led the Monarchs with 21 points, Corey Graham 16 points and Israel Brown 15 points.
N’Chez Alston scored 20 points for the Jaguars in the loss. Tijawan Black added 14 points while Direlle McGee added 11 points.
Ridgeland-Hardeeville HS 70 Lake Marion HS 39
The game was delayed for 90 minutes with a leaky roof. The Jaguars were too much for the region foe Gators. Rashamel Butler led the charge with 17 points, Rashard Baker 16 points and Ny’gel Boozer with 15 points.
Tyrin Mazyck took high honors for the Gators with 16 points.
Ashley Ridge HS 61 Hunter-Kinard-Tyler HS 45
The Swamp Foxes (11-2) picked up another victory at the Sweet 16 over a scrappy 1A Trojans team. Rashad Brown led the way with 13 points, Ahmad Brown and Jalen Williams both added 11 points. Jamal Edmonson a Francis Marion (SC) signee scored 9 points.
Marlow Gilmore scored 22 points and I’rek Hartwell added 8 points in defeat for H-K-T.
Berkeley HS 67 Edisto HS 49
The Stags stayed undefeated with the strong play of Ishan White. White recorded 6 dunks on the night for the Stags. White scored 28 points while DJ Chisholm added 14 points and Trevur Smalls 10 points.
Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS 41 Calhoun County HS 34
The Battle of Highway 601 was a great game down to the wire once again. The Bruins prevailed behind John Paul White with 10 points and Frank Lee added 8 points.
The Saints were led in scoring by Ethan Tullock with 12 points in the defeat.
