All Unknown Team : Carvers Bay Bear Jamboree
Prep Hoops took in 2 days of action of the Carvers Bay Bear Jamboree. Every year we our able to find a few new kids we haven’t seen before. This year is know exceptions, lets take a look at some Unknown talent from the Carvers Bay Bear Jamboree.
Ron Stackhouse (2019) – Creek Bridge HS (Gresham)
Stackhouse averaged 8 ppg and 5 rebounds for the Warriors last season. Stackhouse really played well around the baseline and around the basket today. Stackhouse was very active on the boards and never adventured outside the paint. Stackhouse will look to be the team leader for the small school Class A located in Marion County this season.
Tyquan Chandler (2019) – Andrews HS
Chandler 6’0 shooting guard knocked down some deep three pointers to start the day. Chandler was a bit of a streaky shooter and wasn’t afraid to put it up in the air from downtown. Chandler should receive plenty of looks with several players moving on from last seasons Yellow Jackets team,
Tre’Quan Scott (2021) – Darlington HS (pictured on front)
Scott was a pleasant surprise for the Falcons. Scott will for sure be a name you will hear around this program for the next few years. Scott really elevated well off the floor and connected on several 3 pointers. Scott 6’0 jump-shooter was set and ready to fire when the ball was delivered. Scott started for the Falcons in the game.
Jeremiah Nesbitt (2021) – St James HS (Murrells Inlet)
Nesbitt might be the future of the Sharks program. Nesbitt started off quickly getting to the foul line and converting several baskets. Nesbitt 6’1 off scored the ball in transition for the Sharks. Nesbitt might be the guy the Sharks lead on for some offensive production this season.
