Recruiting Report: Thomas Hall (2019)
Class of 2019 post Thomas Hall is a player from Metamora that has had some buzz over the last couple months. He is a well-built 6’8” four man that is a plus rebounder in his area. Effective rebounding both offensively and defensively. He has mobility to play in the pick and roll game as both a screener and finisher. Efficient finisher around the hoop. Also can spot up for threes. Solid athlete. He showed that he is definitely worth consideration at the low-major level this spring when we have seen him with Team RWA. He spoke about his spring to date.
“With RWA it is going well. I have picked up some offers. We have played some tough competition and traveled a lot. Being on a new time is nice.”
He is coming off a successful junior campaign during the high school season.
“This year we made it went great. We made it to the elite eight. First time in school history so that was good. We got over 20 wins which was the fifth time in six years so that was good. Individually I played pretty good. Toward the end of the season I really picked it up a lot. I helped in the post season.”
What can he bring to a team at the next level?
“I can bring a leadership role. I have been a leader in two sports. I also think I can spread the floor with my shooting and can finish at the rim.”
Hall updated us on his recruitment.
“I have offers NJIT, Stetson, Air Force, Arkansas Little Rock, and High Point.”
What will he be looking for in a school?
“Mostly the relationship I make with the people I meet. The academics is big too. I want to be at a good school and go on past basketball.”
