Recruiting Report: Julian Barr (2019)
Class of 2019 shooting guard Julian Barr is a 6’4” wing from Lincoln Way East that shot the lights out when we saw him with Team RWA. He is a well built two guard that drills threes from all over the court. Quick and clean shot mechanics. Most effective off the catch, but did show a smooth pull up from 15 feet as well. Mixes in some off the bounce as he is a decent athlete. Needs to be on the low-major radar!
Barr broke down his junior campaign.
“It went good. We had an amazing season. The seniors really stepped up and took us to another level. Sam Shafer is really skilled and I love him as a teammate.”
What are the biggest assets in his game?
“I think my strengths are shooting and finding the open man. Helping my team rebound.”
He is enjoying running with Team RWA this spring.
“Great bunch of guys. We are playing well. My role is role is being a shooter/combo guard that rebounds.”
What is going on with recruiting?
“I am talking to Ottawa State, Quincy, and Governors State offered me.”
