Team Preview: KC Spurs
The KC Spurs are one of if not the most talented team at the Prep Hoops Proving Grounds LIVE event in Minneapolis this weekend. Don Weston does a fabulous job coaching a very unselfish group that thrives on playing together. They are loaded with talent get a peek at a few of their players below!
Dalen Ridgnal 2019 Forward– Ridgnal is an athletic 6’6 Forward that will catch coaches eyes with his motor. If he is on the court he is going to make an impact in some form or fashion. The biggest thing that stands out defensively is his shot blocking and adjusting skills. The athleticism of Ridgnal to be able to sky at a moments notice for a block is impressive. On offense, Ridgnal has developed a solid mid-range jumper. He has long had a good physical presence inside that helps him to finish around the hoop. Ridgnal projects to the Low Major NCAA Division I level.
Siler Tschirhart 2019 Center– Tschirhart is a physical five man for the KC Spurs that does his part to make sure opponents feel his presence down low. Although, Tschirhart is not a great shot blocker he does a good job of adjusting a lot of shots. He is a great rebounder. Tschirhart can score on the low block when given opportunities.
Spencer Jones 2019 Wing– The improvements Jones has made in his game are off the charts over the past calendar year. Jones is a certified sniper from deep at 6’6 with a solid frame. He is going to catch a college coaches eye this weekend with his three-point shooting and defense. Jones appears to have turned the corner this Spring.
Keyon Thomas 2019 Point Guard– Thomas is the floor general with a steady hand that gives opponents trouble. He runs the team very efficiently at the Point. Thomas does a great job setting up others for his success and getting his own shot when his team needs him to score.
This weekend the KC Spurs will get their weekend started with Wisconsin RAP at 7:35 PM on Friday night.
