Recruiting Report: Jaden Frazier (2019)
Jaden Frazier, a class of 2019 power forward from the Blue Ridge School, is off to a great start this spring with Team Loaded 804 17U, who won their bracket last weekend in DC. The 6-foot-8 post prospect, who played well on both ends of the floor, looks much more confident than we’ve seen in the past.
“I think my game has a little bit of old school and new school in it. Old school meaning back to the basket and aggressive. Then new school meaning a little bit of style,” Frazier said of his overall game. “I would say most people don’t see how I create for my teammates.”
Showcasing an improved jump shot and improved strength which enables him to bang with the bigger and slower bigs in the paint, Frazier says the most important thing I’ve leaned this season is to trust in my abilities play ball. He is continuing to work on getting stronger and faster this off season.
“Wofford is recruiting me the hardest right now,” Frazier, who has since added an offer from Central Connecticuit State, said of his recruitment. “My goals for the spring and summer are to make my team better by making myself better because you are only as strong as your weakest link.”
What can Frazier bring to a college program?
“I think I can bring energy and effort to an college program.”
Jaden Frazier is ranked by Prep Hoops as a top-35 prospect in his class. To view the full ranking of Virginia’s 2019 class, click here.
