Messiah Jones (Simeon)
The Drake commit went beast mode against Kenwood early in the week. He had 17 points, 22 rebounds, and 6 blocks in a 65-48 win.
Landon Wolfe (Effingham)
Wolfe is one of the best juniors in southern Illinois. The small forward had 36 points in a close loss to Taylorville. Followed that up with 34 points against Mahomet Seymour on Friday.
Dannie Smith (Orr)
Smith is having an outstanding senior campaign being productive and showing growth in his game. He was big time against Uplift going for 24 points and 12 boards in an 83-63 win.
James Connolly (Grayslake North)
Connolly made news recently with his commitment to St. Mary University in Minnesota and then went out against Woodstock and dropped 23 points in a 90-64 win.
Anthony Lynch (Larkin)
Big week for the Larkin senior two guard. The unsigned senior had 25 points in a win over Streamwood and then turned around on Saturday with 30 points in the morning and 24 more against Belvedere later in the day.
Fred Cleveland (Leo)
This junior point guard has put up big numbers all year long. He did it again last week in a 74-51 win over St. Francis dropping 29 points and dishing out 8 dimes.
Devon House (Sterling Newman)
House is one of the better centers in the 2020 class in Illinois. The big man went to work for 26 points against Kewanee.
Jayden Johnson (Batavia)
Johnson is a sophomore that continues to post huge numbers. He had 26 points off seven threes on Friday.
Bryant Brown (Waukegan)
Brown is one of the best 2019 prospects in the state and is playing like it this season. He had 31 points and 12 boards in an overtime win on the road at Lincoln.
Randy Tucker (Rock Island)
Tucker is a sleeper point guard in the Quad City area. He shined against Alleman going for 22 points including 16 in the first half in their 56-37 win.
