Recruiting Report: Anthony Lynch (2018)
Larkin 2018 wing Anthony Lynch is a shooting guard that is having a nice senior year. The top 40 prospect is at his best when he is attacking and getting downhill. This senior is tough to stop with a head of steam behind him. Tough straight line drives to the hoop. Finishes well at the rim. Capable shooter pulling up from 15-18 feet. Lynch is a D2 prospect that would be a solid role player at that level.
He chatted with PHI about his senior campaign.
“It is going pretty good. We are doing well in conference. I think we are doing what we are supposed to do. We have a lot of seniors so I think that is paying off with all the hard work. I think I am playing pretty well. It is easy playing with a big guy like Jalen (Shaw) in the pick and roll. I try to get him the ball as much as possible, but I can drive too. We have shooters and drivers. It is fun playing with this group of guys.”
He had a quality summer with Kessel Heat. Where has he improved the most since then?
“I think I have improved my mid-range jumper. I have been working on that a lot with my dad. Getting my body right for not only high school, but for college.”
Lynch mentioned several schools showing interest, but he says that three are currently contacting him the most and are consistent recruiting him.
“I would say Lewis, Maryville, and Northern Michigan.”
