Northstar Weekly Honors Poll: Dec. 11–17
McCaleb Alleman, CHOF: 40 points against Maranatha to lead CHOF to an overtime win, attacking the rim relentlessly. It was CHOF’s first win of the year.
Jake Binley, Simley: 85 points in three games this week improving the Simley Spartans to their best start in more than 15 years. Jake averaged 28 points and 8 rebounds a game in the three games this last week including a 41-point, 9-rebound performance against Como Park on Friday night. Jake made 17 of 26 field goals in that game.
Carter Henry, BOLD: The 6-7 forward had 21 points 12 rebounds and 2 blocks in a win against New Ulm Cathedral, and then had a monstrous 13 blocks against Mayer Lutheran while also putting in 17 points.
Owen King, Caledonia: 29 points in a win over Lake City while topping 2,000 career points. The Tigers were ranked No. 8 in Class AA.
Henry Abraham. Cambridge-Isanti: Had 27 points with 6 threes vs. Irondale and 25 with 4 threes in win vs Andover on Friday. Cambridge-Isanti is 5-0 and Henry is six points away from 1,000 for his career as a sophomore.
