Prospect Spotlight: Ryan Trautmann (2019)
Juanita guard Ryan Trautmann is a two sport athlete, who can really ball.
After not playing AAU this summer, Trautmann decided to put more focus in baseball.
“I did not play AAU this past summer because I also play baseball and I had to invest a lot of time into that. Both baseball and basketball are both important to me and I look forward to continuing putting in the work and getting results” said Trautmann.
Even though Trautmann didn’t play AAU this summer, he still found time to get in the gym as much as possible to work on his basketball skills.
“This offseason I have been putting in a lot of time in the gym, lifting and getting stronger, as well as running hills/stairs to help my speed, footwork, and endurance. In terms of the skill part I’ve worked on my ball handling and also a lot of shooting off the dribble and getting to the hoop.”
Trautmann is excited about this upcoming season. He wants to develop an all around game and contribute to his team wins.
“Going into my junior season I want to be an all around solid player that packs the stat sheet and does the little things to help my team win. The only thing that matters to me is winning.”
