Prospect Spotlight: Dante Holliday (2018)
Dante Holliday is a name to watch in Michigan this coming basketball season. The 6-1 senior shooting guard started to turn heads last season and into the spring and summer. He looks forward to being a leader for John F. Kennedy High School in 2017-2018.
Holliday has a nice jumper and is also able to get to the basket. A strength of his game is his ability to rebound from the guard position. He is stressing improvement with his left hand and getting quicker while working out. Dante Holliday worked all summer to get himself in prime physical condition.
Holliday is ready to solidify his place in Michigan high school basketball and create a future for himself both in basketball and through basketball. He looks forward to playing rival school Woodhaven. Holliday wants to making John F. Kennedy High School a better team this year and he wants to win championships. Off the court, Holliday wants to work at being a great student.
Dante Holliday has a lot to offer a college program. He’s a leader who can motivate his teammates and drive them to improve. He’s incredibly responsive to coaching, and ready and willing to learn. He’s received interest from Adrian College and Penn State Beaver University. Look for Holliday to add to that list in 2017-2018. His long term goals are to be a successful basketball player and to take care of his family.
“My greatest motivation to achieve my goals is really myself because nobody can push me as hard as I push myself,” Holliday said.
