Prospect Spotlight: (2021) Lemuel Armstrong
Lemuel Armstrong also know as “LJ”, is ready to make his case as the top freshman in the state.
The 6’6 forward has been working on his skills all off season, putting in major work. Armstrong is more of a slasher, with the ability to catch and shoot the open 3. He rebounds at a high level with his length and athletic ability. He has a good feel for the post as well.
“I love to play defense and bring that high energy for my team. I try and track down every rebound and out work my match up” said Armstrong.
Armstrong has been in the transition stage of becoming a guard. He has been the tallest on every team he has played for, so they automatically send him to the post. But he has been working on his guard skills daily.
“I’ve played post my whole life, cause I’m always the biggest guy on my team. But when I got to Foster, Coach Ladd seen my potential and started working with me everyday on my ball handling and guard skills. He has a lot of experience because he played at the level I want to get to.”
Armstrong hasn’t step foot on the recruiting radar just yet, but he has so much time for development and growth.
